  • The 1920s to 60s are known as the 'golden age' of Hollywood
  • There i still a debate in quality and taste between the mainstream Studios and independent companies. similar to the music industry

  • Smaller companies share risk by having co-production - temporary agreements with other companies 
  • Other national cinemas offer grants and financial incentives to film in their country. examples include The bond films based in the UK and The Lord of the Rings series in New Zealand.

The advertising industry is a powerful and important industry that can shape and create ideas that are then pushed onto audiences and consumers who see these adverts.
